Privacy & cookies

Information about personal data shared through this website and how to contact us about your privacy.

Last updated: 9 October 2026. This notice covers the public website and initial enquiries. An engagement involving investigations, due diligence or other personal data may require a separate notice and agreed data-handling terms.

Who is responsible for your information?

MK Global Advisory & Investigations is the trading name of MK Global Financial Investigations & Policy Advisory Ltd, registered in England and Wales with company number 16851132. The company is the controller of personal information collected for its own website enquiries.

Registered office and contact address: 37 Lombard Street, 6th Floor, London, EC3V 9BQ, United Kingdom.

For privacy questions or requests, email .

Information we collect

The enquiry form collects your full name, email address, selected service and message, plus your organisation if you choose to provide it. The form does not accept attachments. We also receive information you send by email and any subsequent correspondence.

The consultation booking form collects your full name, email address, the service and time you choose, and your preferred format (video or phone), plus your organisation, phone number and a short note if you choose to provide them. We use these to hold the time, prepare for the call and confirm it.

Our hosting and technical providers may process connection and diagnostic information, such as an IP address, browser information, request time and error details, to deliver and protect the website.

Please provide only a brief outline. Do not send identity documents, banking details, sensitive personal information, allegations about identifiable people, or case files through the initial enquiry form. We can agree an appropriate way to share material if needed.

Why we use it and our lawful bases

  • To consider your enquiry, contact you and discuss a possible engagement: steps at your request before entering a contract where applicable, or our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries.
  • To operate and protect the website, prevent abuse and manage correspondence: our legitimate interests in providing a secure, reliable service.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations and retain records required by law: legal obligation.

The required form fields allow us to assess and reply to your request; the organisation field is optional. You can contact us by email instead. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. We do not use the form to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Who receives information and international processing

Form enquiries and consultation requests are stored in the website’s Lovable Cloud database. Access is restricted to authorised personnel; visitors cannot view other people’s submissions. Website hosting, database, technical support and email providers process information as needed to operate these services. Information may also be shared with professional advisers or authorities where necessary for legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. We do not sell enquiry information.

We use our business inbox to manage correspondence and may receive copies of website enquiries and consultation requests there.

Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where a restricted international transfer takes place, applicable data-protection law requires an appropriate adequacy decision or contractual safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum, as relevant. Contact us for details of the arrangements applicable to your information.

How long information is kept

Unsuccessful enquiries and consultation requests are retained for six months after the last contact, then removed from the active database. The same retention period applies to copies in our business inbox, which are reviewed and deleted separately; database deletion does not automatically delete emails. Where an enquiry leads to an engagement, the relevant client-record retention period is agreed separately. Records required for a legal obligation or dispute may be retained longer for that purpose and reviewed separately. Backup copies may remain until the provider’s backup retention cycle ends.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing or data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Email us to exercise these rights. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month; an extension may apply to complex requests, in which case we will explain it.

You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local supervisory authority where applicable. You do not have to contact us first.

Cookies and external links

The public website does not include advertising pixels or optional analytics scripts in its application code. Technical providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are strictly necessary to deliver and secure the site. These do not require opt-in where they meet the legal exemption. We will not use non-essential cookies or tracking without your consent.

The optional map uses OpenStreetMap tiles and does not load until you select “Load map”. Loading it shares your IP address and connection information with OpenStreetMap, as described in the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy. Your choice is not saved in a cookie. The address remains available in text without loading the map. We do not embed Google Maps.

Links to Medium, LinkedIn and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy and cookie policies. We do not embed their feeds on this website.
